Project Description

OATI South Campus Microgrid – Minneapolis, Minnesota

Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) South Campus Building incorporates a unique “Microgrid” on the roof of the structure, housing the solar panels and wind turbines to power the 110,000 sq ft facility.  The Microgrid structure is exposed galvanized steel that required a coated bolt with A490 equivalent tension.  The fabricator chose LeJeune’s F3148 TNA® Fastening System.  The TNA® Fastening System provided the customer with a mechanically galvanized bolt that also produced tensions equal to A490.  Installation was perfect, even in the rain, sleet, and freezing temperatures of a Minnesota winter.
