Project Description

KCS Redlands Bridge – Spiro, Oklahoma

This unique project highlights a few of the many benefits of our TNA Torque + Angle Fastening System.  The Redlands Bridge, operarted by Kansas City Railway, is 2,100 foot long and was the first steel deck railway bridge constructed in the United States.  This projects had a number of critical factors to consider; old steel from which rivets needed to be removed and replaced by high strength structural bolts, confined space application in which the fasteners could only be accessed from a single side as well as noise safety regulations preventing the use of impact wrenches, and time critical production to ensure shut down deadlines would be met.

Our Torque + Angle Fastening System met all of the demands for this project with flying colors.
